Leadership Team Development Workshop

Your all-in-one solution to creating your top team of talent at your architecture practice.

Most of us are not natural born leaders. Much like architecture, we need to learn the skills and foundations before we can become experts at what we do.

Our Leadership Team Development Workshop will help fill in the gaps so that your leadership team can excel in any management role within your practice. This workshop will empower the current and aspiring leaders in your practice to become strong, confident leaders who can take ownership and positively contribute to the practice’s overall direction and success.

This is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Archibiz mentors will work with each practice individually to create a workshop that is best suited to the needs of the practice. Once we’ve established the goals of each practice and how to get there, we’ll create a custom program for your team.

What's inside a workshop

In the workshop, your team will learn the underlying skills of being a leader. They will learn how to drive the vision for the practice and create alignment while doing so. Your team will learn strategies for building a collaborative environment, defining the culture in the workplace and inspiring others. They’ll also walk away with tried-and-tested blueprints to help improve efficiency, profitability and productivity at all levels.

Business Development Tactics

Learn the Five Stages of Business Model and how it can be applied to further the business. This is a concept that has repeatedly proven to be a defining moment in the development of many architecture practices.

Six Mindset Shifts

Your team will start not only acting like leaders, but also thinking like them. We'll teach you the 6 Mindset Shifts to help your team transition from thinking like a "technician" to thinking like a leader.

Practice Improvement Strategies

Learn how to identify and implement incremental changes in the practice so that it runs more smoothly and efficiently. We'll unpack strategies that will motivate and empower your team to take initiative and control as needed.

Team Building

Build a reinvigorated team who feels appreciated and excited about the opportunities at hand. Our exercises will not only help define your practice's values and purpose, but get your team on the same page.

Ready to perfect your Leadership Team?

Our goal is to start creating your team of well-rounded self-starters who are proactive, dynamic and can keep all trains running on track.

Leadership Team Development Workshops can be arranged in half-days, full days or over multiple dates. If you’d like to set up a workshop for your architecture practice, register your interest below and we will be in touch soon.

Here's what other architects are saying about Archibiz

I used to rely on my fellow directors who have a lot of experience. Now, I feel that I am able to talk and add input, knowing I have some confidence about what I'm talking about.

The longer I am in business, the more I appreciate other people's views. Ray helped us see things in a different way, discover our own weaknesses.

Learning how to safely delegate and provide boundaries around the roles and responsibilities has been really good. It’s allowed me to step back so I can focus more on the vision of the company and not just the inner workings.

Have Questions? We Have Answers.

Who's this workshop for?

The Leadership Development Workshop is best suited for mid-sized architecture practices. It's meant to develop the leadership skills of your associate directors, studio managers, or project leaders, so that you (the owner) can focus on the big picture.

What's a workshop look like?

Where possible, our workshops will be held in-person, at your venue of choice. Most often, this will be your studio, where you and your team will feel most comfortable. You can choose from half-day, full-day, or multiple days' workshops. This is entirely your choice. Each workshop will feature different 30-minute to 60-minute sessions, with breaks in between.

Do I have any input on the content that goes into the workshop?

Absolutely. We'll work with studio owners to craft a workshop that is best suited to your practice. You'll be given the opportunity to choose from a range of topics and concepts. Once that's done, we'll curate a special program just for you.

What happens after the workshop?

You'll be given an action plan and guidance for how to implement everything you learned in the workshop so that it stays top-of-mind with participants. Plus, even though the workshop may be over, you'll still be a part of our Archibiz community. That means access to exclusive events, our closed Facebook group and other valuable resources.
